This Data Retention Policy outlines the principles and procedures ART VR Limited; a company registered in England (Companies House registration number: 15753461) whose registered office is at 20 Church Terrace, Old Glossop, Glossop, Derbyshire, England, SK13 7RL follows to ensure compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The policy aims to ensure that personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

 Employee Data: Retained for the duration of employment and for 6 years after the end of employment to comply with legal obligations and for potential legal claims.

Financial Data: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations.

Marketing Data: Retained for 3 years from the date of last contact with the data subject.

After the applicable retention period, we will either delete or de-identify your data or, if neither deletion or de-identification is possible (for example, due to data being stored on a backup server), isolate your data from further processing until deletion or de-identification is possible. We may continue to use data that is not identifiable to you (for example, aggregate data).

When personal data is no longer required, ART VR Limited will ensure it is securely deleted or anonymised. This includes:

Electronic Data: Securely deleted using appropriate software tools.

Physical Data: Shredded or otherwise destroyed to prevent reconstruction.
